File Import

File Import Link

Click on the File Import link in the Purple Sidebar to open the File Import Pane.

Click on the down arrow in the File Import Type field and choose the File Import type you wish to import (in this example we are using the CPSO Import)

NOTE: The File Import Type list will only list the types you have access to import.

Once you choose your File Import Type a link to a sample csv file will appear below the File Import Type field. Click on the link to download the sample file to your computer and open the sample csv.

The sample csv will contain all of the mandatory columns needed to complete the import. It may also contain optional columns which are clearly marked as optional.

You can use the sample file to create your import file or use a csv file you have already created that contains the correct columns and data.

If you use the sample file to create the import file, delete the sample data and input the data you wish to import, then save the csv with a new name.

In WebSAS click on Browse to upload your import file.

In the window that opens, nagivate to the file on your computer, click on the file, and click Open, or double click on the file to upload it.

The csv file will appear in the Files field. In the Email Address field, input the email address you want notifications sent to and then click on Import.

File Import

The file will be imported and you will receive notification via the email you input in the Email Address field.

If the import is successful your data will be in WebSAS.

If the import was unsuccessful, the email notification will explain the issues with the import. Edit your csv file based on the explanation in the notification email and upload and import your revised file.
